The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a report after leaving, trade/position record cards, and correspondence related to Quip's work after leaving Carlisle. Quip also noted in a 1917 letter regarding a subscription to the Arrow that he was living in Altonah, Utah.

In school documentation Dick Quip's name is also spelled Dick Quipp. He is also known as Dick R. Quipp and Richard Quip.
