Christian Eastman Student File

Student file of Christian Eastman, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on November 27, 1896, graduated in 1899, and ultimately departed on March 6, 1899. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, a report after leaving, and a former student response postcard. The file indicates Eastman played professional baseball for nine years, was a clerk in a general store in Santee, Nebraska in 1910, and was a blacksmith in the Norfolk and Western Railroad shop in Santee, Nebraska in 1912.
