Charles M. Sorell Student File

Student file of Charles M. Sorell, a member of the Shoshone Nation, who entered the school on June 10, 1903, and departed on November 7, 1905. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, a returned student survey, and correspondence that indicates Sorrell was working as a cook in Pocatello, Idaho. Immediately after discharge, Sorrell was employed for a time as the Assistant Cook at the Carlisle Indian School.

In school documentation Charles M. Sorell's name is also spelled Charles M. Sorrell, Charles M. Surrell, Charles Surrell, Charles Sorrell, and Charles Sorell.
