Charles Apekaum (Guoe Da E) Student File

Student file of Charles Apekaum, a member of the Kiowa Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1914, graduated in 1915, and departed on June 4, 1915. The file indicates Apekaum was a student at the Central State Normal School of Oklahoma in 1917, stationed at the U.S. Naval Training Station at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1917 and was stationed on the U.S.S. Dolphin in 1918.

In school documentation Charles Apekaum's name is also spelled Charles Ape-Kaum and Charles Ape Kaum. He is also known as Charlie Apekaum (also spelled Charlie Ap Kaum and Charlies Ape-Kaum) and Charles E. Apekaum, Charles Emerson Apekaum, Charles Emerson, and Guoe Da E.
