George McDaniels Student File

Student file of George McDaniels, a member of the Cherokee Nation, who entered the school on October 15, 1891 and ultimately departed on July 4, 1893. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a trade/position record card, letters/correspondence, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates that McDaniels attended the Harrell Institute in Muskogee, Oklahoma and the Cherokee National Male Seminary in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was a clerk in the Union Agency in Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1911, working in the U.S. Indian Service in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1912, and a U.S. District Agent in the Indian Service in Sapulpa, Oklahoma in 1913.

In school documentation George McDaniels is also known as George M. McDaniel and George Miller McDaniel.
