Sarah Archiquette Student File

Student file of Sarah Archiquette, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on June 22, 1888, and departed on July 4, 1893. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, a returned student survey, a news clipping, and former student response postcards indicating that in 1913 she was working and living in Flandreau, South Dakota. The file also contains correspondence to the school from 1914 where she writes that she is now living in West De Pere, Wisconsin and wishes to send her children to Carlisle.

In school documentation Sarah Archiquette's name is also spelled Sara Archiquette. Her married name is Sarah Archiquette Cornelius (Mrs. Sampson Cornelius).
