The Documents section features digitized copies of documents relating to the history of the school. These documents include correspondence, graduation pamphlets, and other forms of ephemera, and have been digitized by Digital Resource Center staff. Today, these documents are preserved in a number of locations, including the Dickinson College Archives and Special Collections as well as private collections.

These materials include correspondence regarding a personal controversy between two Carlisle Indian School employees, Clerk Siceni J. Nori and Matron Jennie L. Gaither. Some of the earlier pieces of correspondence are not included in the folder at the National Archives, but the conflict seems to have stemmed from disagreements about the placement of a girl as a domestic help for Mr. Nori's sick wife. The grievance is resolved with an official apology from Mr. Nori.
