Request to Return Six Ill Chiricahua Apache Students to Alabama

Richard Henry Pratt requests to return one Chiricahua Apache girl who is suffering from phthisis as well as two other girls and three boys who are also in poor health but would likely survive the winter to the Mount Vernon Barracks in Alabama. Pratt notes that he has authority to return students from the Office but he likely needs the consent of the War Department to return the students.
